Two very kind people bought boxes for us to give out today to the nurses on strike out in front of Henry Ford Hospital.

This was such an amazing experience for my daughter! She loved being able to give something to everyone she saw!

Such a nice and friendly group of nurses! They were so sweet to my daughter and many gave her some cash tips!

They keep inviting us back out so we will see them again soon!

We love our nurses and are thankful for all the good they do!!

Hello! I am gonna pause things on my page for a bit. It has been a rollercoaster ride since before the New Year with my moms health and I just don’t want to have things in the back of my mind while worrying nonstop about my mom. 

She has been going back-and-forth between the hospital and care facilities and I honestly am just a little overwhelmed!

I have a few paid for orders and few that were claimed but not paid for but still set aside.

Message me anytime for those orders!!

Outside of that I am just gonna hold off on making anything or taking on new requests!

I may post here and there during some down time to help keep me in your feed. 

I have/had big plans for my page this year but my main focus is my mom and family!!

You know what makes me happy? The fact that a lot of these kids remember me from last year’s cheer competition at the Grand Blanc high school!

But something has been weighing heavy on my heart since I got home…

One staff member told me her daughter(not pictured) talked about me for several weeks after last years Cheer competition🥹 she loved how nice I was to her. She hung out with me at my booth and handed out samples for me. Her and her friends watched my booth for me at one point so I could use the restroom and I gave them all candy for helping me. That stuck with her for a while.

Several months after last year’s event, a young man working at Home Depot remembered me as I was checking out. He said he and his buddy had so much fun there because of me. They kept coming past my booth and saying “wow!! Is that freeze dried candy?!?!🤩🤯” and I would say “yes!!! Would you like a sample?” That happened the majority of the day. I never got annoyed and I had fun playing along.

My whole point in sharing this is these young people need to know kindness from adults.

While it makes my heart so happy I made an impression on them, it shouldn’t be rare that an adult would take time to be kind to a child they don’t know.

It really shouldn’t be such a big deal that I was nice to them!!

After my 13 year old niece took her life in December 2022 I have looked at all of these young kids and teens differently.

I always wonder if I will be the reason they want to stay or if I will be that last straw…

I truly feel like our children and young people need us now more than ever before. Instead of criticizing our youth and making them feel less than welcome, maybe try kindness?

Maybe give them a compliment?

Maybe let them sit at your booth and chat with you?

Maybe lean in on the joke?

Maybe give them a chance?

Maybe just maybe treat them how you would have LOVED to have been treated as a child!!!

In a world where negativity is more prevalent than positivity, you can make a difference!

These kids ARE the future and WE can show them what love and kindness looks like!!

The book shelf I whipped my car around for yesterday🙌🏼 this was in the TRASH🤯 I checked it over several times. Almost no imperfections anywhere! We do not have any room for it but I MADE room for it!! Threw some random stuff on it for this picture but wow 🤩

I wish the person who put this beauty out to the trash knew how happy they made me🥹
