Recently visited the Holocost Museum in Washington DC with my daughter. I had been taught about the holocaust during my high school years and part of the lessons were films from the Americans who helped liberate the camps along with the British Allies. My daughter had learned about the holocaust as well, but her lessons did not include any films - merely reading from history books and of course, the Diary of Anne Frank. Watching my daughter go through the museum and watching her watch the films was a moving experience for me, as for the first time, she SAW with her own eyes the atrocities that man can inflict upon another man for really no reason at all. I saw that she finally understood exactly what I was talking about when I said that she needed to SEE a historical film from the liberation of the camps- especially the one just released by the BBC, which is agonizing to watch but so very vital to see.
The fact that a political figure, especially one touting a debunked theory won a Noble Prize vs Irena Sendler screams volumes. We think that we have come so ā farā in our āmoralsā and our way of thinking ; when in fact we have strayed so far from a righteous and true path. Deluding ourselves into thinking that we have made the world a better place or even that we are on the way to making the world a better place by tearing down statues that some find āoffensive . Rewriting history ā so that Columbus, once celebrated for helping to find this land is now regarded as the lowest of the low- a ra**st and a murderer, forgetting conviently that those who came before him, did the very same thing. History being rewritten to make the Crusades look like a tiny blip in time and not really discussed in depth or detail as they should be, but brushed under the rug so as to not offend anyone.
Our press making up sordid stories not to inform, but to titilate and excite readers into violence or ignorance. Finding truth is made more difficult as racism is brought in if one does not agree with the popular culture- one is called a racist if one questions the acts or thoughts of people who r**e and kill in the name of religion. Anti- racism is a real thing and sadly those who practice it are actually acting facist. People scream for equality in everything not realizing that those experiments have been tried and failed with horrific deadly results in not just the Soviet Union but recently Venezuela and earlier in South American Countries like Columbia, Nicaragua. Others like the Philippines, then countries in Africa that are still struggling to find a form of government.... These people come here and want to bring a failed flawed evil form of government to a free country that yes, has its flaws but so far has been the best way of living in the last 200 years, and want to change it.
Everything cannot be equals, everyone cannot be the same or make the same amount of money or have the same talents and gifts- if it were possible, who would want to live in such a world where that is possible? Everyone cannot be the same color, be as intelligent or as beautiful as everyone else. What a very dull existence we would have. Yet, there are those who want to have that very thing. Do you want to work to support the world? Or do you prefer to use your talents to support yourself and your family? Because in very basic terms be it communism or socialism you are working for someone other than yourself! Is that what you want? Is that right- to be forced to work for the benefit of others? Think about it. Think about what direction this nation is going- is it the best way for you and your family? Do you think a free ride is fair for those who break laws when you and others have had to bust your ass to get where you are? Do you think generational welfare is ok? Do you think marriage should be a punishment on taxes? Do you think itās ok for women to have multiple children by multiple fathers who donāt support the women or children? Do you think itās ok for the government to decide that if you have pain you can have pain meds BUT not any prescribed sleeping meds or any anxiety medication? There are men and women out there who have been on 5 mg of Va**um/ Xanax/ Ativan or whichever benzodiazepine you choose for YEARS and then they develop pain- chronic pain be it arthritis (which can be debilitating) or from accidents or from having served in the military - having run in full gear for miles and miles and their back and knees are now bone on bone or disc have slipped- and they have a choice- a little pain medication or a sleep medication; a little pain medication or a little anxiety medication? Cause thatās what the ā opioidā crisis is folks - itās those who are truly suffering paying the price for a few who overdosed or those who stole meds and those who abused meds and got addicted- as usual the innocent suffer. Oh, but donāt worry if youāre dying and I mean dying youāll get meds.... is that right? Do we as adults have the right to take medication prescribed for us by doctors for us- or do we require the government to oversee what we do in our lives? As it is the government oversees everything we buy/watch/travel- and all our health care info is there for anyone with the right code to peek at š¤Ø. The government couldnāt run a w***e house and yet they are still trying to run health care and the postal service.... and banks ( notice how many small banks closed up after the Dodd/Frank act?- and how ā easyā it was to get a loan?).
Just pointing out things that are right there for anyone with eyes to see. November is coming fast- do we want the same thing or something worse? Or do we want what we voted for in the 2016 midterms? We voted for change and those we elected were slapped down so hard that they are still reeling- and then our āinglorious leadership ā put Paul Ryan as Speaker and he betrayed everyone of us with his first vote...... do we want that again? Is it time for a convention of the States? Is Trump truly evil? With the economy turned around, unemployment lowest in years ( real numbers too) our GDP to hit 4% taxes lowered- and yet even his own party gives him a hard time- why? Is it because he has seen their self serving greed and called them on it? We know the dems want to raise taxes and allow illegals a free ride in addition to all they already get ( housing, food stamps health care- all free) so folks what are you going to do? Business as usual? Or wake up and demand change? Follow the lead of the President and demand the Congress that has sucked the tit for THEIR own benefit- not yours the people who elected them to do a job to protect YOUR way of life, YOUR rights- demand they step down or vote them out? Itās past time they start working for a living or at least start working for the voters benefits!
