Ave Maria Books & Gifts is Northern Kentucky's Catholic store. As of October 2, 2017, we are now located at the corner of US Highway 42 and Weaver (Hopeful Church Rd). You can find us next to Weaver Dental, near Emerson Bakery and Burger King. In addition to great books, prayer aids, and sacramentals, Ave Maria Books & Gifts offers a variety of gifts, including items from local artists.

We are shifting our hours for the 4th of July weekend. We have some construction and medical appointments lined up with this weekend.

FRIDAY - July 3rd - closed but we will be there working! So stop on by, but we probably won't get there until 1030-11

SATURDAY - JULY 4TH - CLOSED
MONDAY - JULY 6TH - CLOSED
TUESDAY - JULY 7th - 12 - 6 power is off in the morning due to window replacement. We should be open by noon!

They have created this scholarship, link is in the comments, for students whose parents or guardians have been affectedby breast cancer.. Deadline for applications is June 16th.

In honor of Elizabeth 's uncle John Buescher, Ave Maria will be closed on Memorial Day.

John was her mother's twin brother and was KIA in Vietnam on September 26, 1970.

One of our God stories of the week:

Geoff's mom is in from London for one of her grandson's High School graduation. She had lunch with a friend this week and brought this book(signed by the author!) back. The author of this book is the daughter of her friend.

We actually have this book on our shelf in the grief section of books!

What are the odds that a woman visiting from London, England has lunch with a friend in Dayton, Ohio and who's son and daughter in law own a Catholic Book Store in Florence, KY gets a book shared with her from an author in Michigan? Gotta be God, right?

We think that faith grows the most when we are seeking an active relationship with God.
