🐝 BUZZ INTO FUN WITH on Saturday, June 20th for a BEE-worthy celebration!

🗺️ As we approach National Pollinators Week, we’re gearing up for a special event to celebrate and learn more about the pollinators that help make the Earth go round.

🦋 Participate in pollinator-friendly crafts, shop pollinator-friendly products, learn about how you can protect pollinators, and SO MUCH MORE at this year’s Bee City Takeover event.

💛 We hope to see you there, and DON’T FORGET, ADMISSION IS FREE!

🐝 Bees have 2 stomachs: one for eating, and one for storing nectar and processing it into honey!

🍯 Bees use their nectar stomach, also known as the crop, to store the nectar they collect from flowers or water, then carry it back to the hive. Once they return, they pass the nectar to other bees through their mouths. As the nectar is passed along, the complex sugars are broken down, and it is then deposited into honeycomb cells, where it ultimately becomes honey.
