When I am not doing my day job posting captions that are more fun than the video or pictures themselves, I am moonlighting as a card sorter. 🎴✨

In some particular order, my commentary for each card:

-Who knew that Build-A-Bear would increase the value of this Pikachu by oodles and noodles? 🧸⚡️

-I have seen a handful of illustration contest cards in the past, but this one reminds me of my cat. All cute and yawning. Adorable. 🐱🥱💤

-Pikachu Libre is the least cool of the cool cards I'm showing off, and I doubt anyone could pull off a body suit half as well. 🤼‍♂️⚡️

I don't know how the cookie crumble to tell you which store to go to. Suppose it will be a treasure hunt for pikachu fans!

You know a set is insanely good when employees and friends from other store locations are voluntarily coming in on their off days just to play! 🧙‍♂️✨

The hype was so real that people were giving up their precious free time to build decks, and hang out with us. The event went to near MIDNIGHT.

When your crew willingly chooses to spend their weekend off at work, you know Middle-earth is calling! 🥞🗡️

Lauryn continued to be the best wizard, Piper came fit to be a hobbit himself, and our beloved friend Micheal (who barely plays MTG at all) did a good job being short. Applause!

When I was a kid, I loved watching Yu-Gi-Oh! on Saturday mornings. I am not even that old, but that was before the internet days when you could stream your favorite shows whenever you wanted, so long as you put on a pirate hat. 🏴‍☠️📺

Slifer the Sky Dragon was my FAVORITE of the three God Cards. This is not Slifer (sob)

Sadly, whoever dropped this Egyptian God statue off at our Flower Mound store was not as big a fan of Slifer as I was, or else my wallet would be much lighter today. Lucky day for you Obelisk the Tormenter fans.

A few fun lore tidbits about Seto Kaiba's divine beast:

🔵In the anime's Battle City arc, sacrificing two monsters gave Obelisk infinite Attack Power to instantly wipe out his opponent.
