It's opening night!!! 🌙 Floyd Small Town Summer has fun for everyone in the family 🎶! Visit us at Tuggles Gap Wooden Toy Co. on our back porch in the park! Look for our flags 🏳🤖 and bubbles 🫧! We will have a Rocker 🐴 on the porch for some shared fun (for kids of ALL ages), & the shoppe will be open until 8pm! Stop in!

ONE DAY AWAY! Join us Thursday, JUNE 4th in Lineberry Park for the OPENING NIGHT of the 2026 Floyd Small Town Summer event series! This 9th season is once again sponsored by The Town of Floyd, VA and runs every other Thursday evening from JUNE 4th to AUGUST 27th. It is FREE, family-friendly, and features a stellar line-up of local and national touring artists. In addition to music, our epic KID ZONE returns with tons of activities, games and crafts for the kiddos. Park Opens at 6PM!

April Epperly is our Tinkering Studio Host! 🖌🎨🖌Who could host a paint party better than a super fun Floyd County Kindergarten teacher!?! 👩‍🏫 We are lucky to have April teaching at Floyd Elementary School. She has over 20 years of teaching experience in Virginia and Colorado school systems. We paint party with the best! 🥳
You can find April at all of our monthly Tinkering Events - both themed events and pop-up events that we add due to weather or the summer slowdown! She has all of the great crafty insights to make your experience fun and your item special. 🌷 🚗 🚀

2 hour party slots available.
Packages start at $100 for the 2hrs.
We supply the paints, aprons, and setup for you!

Did you have big plans now that the kids are out for the Summer, but the forecast has you looking for something indoors?
Join us in the Tinkering Studio on Monday, Memorial Day anytime between 11a-4p for an open studio painting event. Purchase any item from the shop and paint with us at no additional charge. (Most items in the store are between $15-$40!)

Amanda Mellowspring is our in-house ToyDoc! While she occasionally can be found cutting or sanding toys, Amanda handles the aspects of the shop that happen behind the scenes.
Did you know that TOYS 🧸 are a highly regulated industry?!? The safety of our products is important to us. Amanda has completed regulation requirements and obtained the required certifications for the shop, including our Child Product Certificate (CPC) & our Small Batch Manufacturing certification. 🧐
