Twenty-five years later, we still remember.
▪ We remember the lives lost.
▪ We remember the families who never got to say goodbye.
▪ We remember the first responders who ran toward danger while others were running away.
▪ We remember the ordinary Americans who showed extraordinary courage.

And we remember how, for a little while, the things that divided us seemed a whole lot smaller than the things that united us.

Today, we pause to remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost on September 11, 2001, and the many lives forever changed by that day.

We will NEVER forget. 🇺🇸

The town was originally known as "Jacksonville", and the name was officially changed to Floyd in 1896.

So... imagine telling someone: "I'll meet you in Jacksonville."

And they have to figure out whether you mean Florida or Floyd County. 😂
