I want to share a little behind-the-scenes truth about these books. ❤️📚

Right now, there is no publishing company behind Ruthie & Mr. Wiggles.

There’s no professional editing team. No graphic designer. No fancy software or big marketing budget.

It’s me.

Me, my phone, a busted laptop, a whole lot of late nights, and an unreasonable amount of determination. 😂

I’m learning how to format books. I’m learning KDP. I’m learning about bleed, margins, covers, print quality, and about 9,000 other things I never knew I needed to know.

So will everything be absolutely perfect? Probably not.

A margin might be a little off. Something might make it through that I wish I had caught. I might open a proof one day and yell, “WHY IS THAT PAGE DOING THAT?!” 😂

But I’m learning.

And with every book, I’m getting better.

My hope is that someday a professional publisher sees Ruthie, Mr. Wiggles, and what I’m trying to build here and says, “Yep. We want them.”

And then maybe these two little troublemakers get launched straight through the stratosphere. 🐷🚀

But until that day comes, it’s me.

And I’m going to keep doing everything I can with everything I have to make these stories as beautiful, meaningful, and special as I possibly can.

Because I believe in them.

And everybody has to start somewhere.

Apparently, my somewhere is a phone and a busted laptop. 😂❤️

So here we go.

Pack the snacks. Pack the pig. Let’s hit the road. 🐷📚❤️

Testimony Tuesday ❤️
If you truly don’t believe God answers when you call out to Him, let me tell you about two broken vehicles, a bathtub, and a pig sitting over a toilet. 🐷
We are in a hard place. Both vehicles are broken, we are borrowing one just so I could get to work, and my husband had to give up a job he absolutely loved.
And I’m a fixer. I fix things. I make a plan.
But this time, I couldn’t fix it.
So I sat in my bathtub and cried out to God.
For the first time in a long time, I didn’t look to anyone else for the answer. I looked to my Heavenly Father and simply asked:
“God, what do I do?”
And He answered.
Not with thunder or some huge miraculous sign.
With a pig sitting over a toilet. 😂🐷
From that moment came Mr. Wiggles. Then Ruthie. Then Grace, Courage, Faith, Understanding—and story after story began pouring out.
I could not have written these stories without first reaching a place where I had nothing left and finally letting God fill me.
I’m incredibly excited to share these books with you. But I’m even more excited to share what can happen when you cry out to God—even when you’re convinced He isn’t listening.
Cry out anyway. He hears you.
Sometimes His answer just looks nothing like you expected.
Sometimes... it looks like a pig. ❤️🐷

The proof copy of Ruthie’s Road to Grace has officially been ordered!! 🥹❤️🐷
Now we pray the colors are beautiful, the pages are perfect, the printer behaves 😂, and this little book looks just as wonderful in my hands as I’ve imagined it.
What started as a little girl, a stuffed pig, and a whole lot of faith is about to become a real book I can hold.
Thank You, Jesus. Grace made it to print. 🙌❤️

Pumpkin Days is getting closer, and I’m officially getting excited! 🎃🎨
If you’re wandering through the booths, look for the Painted Testimony sign and come find me. I’ll have original paintings, faith-filled pieces, plenty of color, and probably more glitter than any responsible adult should be trusted with. 😂✨
I’ve been pouring a whole lot of heart into getting ready for this, and I can’t wait to share it with everybody in person.
Look for the sign. Come say hi. And come see what Painted Testimony has been creating. ❤️🎨🎃

🎨 A little behind-the-scenes at Painted Testimony…
I’m painting my own 24x36 banner for Pumpkin Days! Because apparently buying a normal banner would have been entirely too easy. 😂
I’m not afraid to show the messy middle—the pencil marks, weird stages, paint-covered hands, and all. That’s kind of what Painted Testimony is about anyway.
We’re all works in progress. ❤️
I can’t wait to show y’all the finished piece hanging above my booth at Pumpkin Days!

Okay, I’m just gonna say it… I want everyone to experience Joy! ❤️📖
Not because I think I have some extraordinary story, but because I know what God did with an ordinary, messy one.
Joy, It’s Not Just Dish Soap! is about heartbreak, mistakes, laughter, loss, healing, faith, and discovering that God was still writing the story even when I couldn’t see Him in it.
If you’ve been through some stuff—and let’s be real, who hasn’t?—maybe there’s a little piece of Joy waiting for you too.
So yes, I’m gonna keep talking about my book. 😂 I worked too hard, cried too much, and watched God do too much with these words to be quiet about it now.
To God be the glory. ❤️

Not my proof copy. Not a picture from Amazon. Someone ordered my book, it showed up at THEIR house, and now they’re holding my story in their hands. 🥹
I don’t think I was prepared for how surreal this would feel.
All those late nights, tears, prayers, edits, and moments of wondering if I could really do this…
I WROTE A BOOK. And people are actually buying it. 😭❤️
