We’re headed to Harvest Homecoming! 🍂

Stop by The Mustard Seed tent at the corner of Pearl & Main St. in New Albany throughout Harvest Homecoming. We’ll have items from our thrift stores available for purchase, and our team will be there to share more about who we are, what we do, and how shopping and donating at The Mustard Seed supports our mission.

The Mustard Seed connects survivors of childhood sexual abuse to healing resources, including trauma-informed counseling and local support groups, while advocating for awareness and prevention.

We’re also excited to have our healing partner, SOAR, joining us at our tent. Their team will be available to share more about the resources they provide, answer questions, and help survivors who are ready to take the first step in their healing journey.

Come shop, learn more about our mission, and say hello. We’d love to see you at Harvest Homecoming!

Community support has a way of reaching further than we sometimes realize. 💛

Recently, The Mustard Seed partnered with Childplace for an annual coat drive. We closed our stores early to give children in Childplace programs a private opportunity to choose coats and winter essentials like hats, gloves, mittens, and scarves for the season ahead.

More than providing winter necessities, we wanted each child to choose items that fit their needs and personal style, while being treated with the dignity and care every child deserves.

We are incredibly grateful for Childplace and the important work they do to serve children and families in our community. We are also grateful for every person who donates to and shops at The Mustard Seed. Your support helps fund our mission of connecting survivors of childhood sexual abuse to healing resources, while donated items also allow us to support neighbors through partnerships like this and our community voucher programs.

When you support The Mustard Seed, your impact reaches beyond our thrift stores. It helps create opportunities for healing, provides practical support to people in need, and strengthens organizations working alongside us to care for our community.

Thank you, Childplace, for the work you do and for allowing us to partner with you again this year. 🤍🐼
