Hmmm thinking of making one of two dragonscale halters in mini horse size. Making things smaller is considerably harder than making them bigger. Less room for error and I don't like bulky halters on little minis. If you want one to be yours, message me now!
I think Ill make one for my own mini, but what color? hmmm She's Red so thinking maybe the Jewel tone one.

You know, I think sometimes we forget there is a real person behind a page or business name. But there is.

Lately, I’ve been thinking about how companies like Amazon have changed our expectations for how quickly things should arrive. Handmade products simply do not work that way. Whether it’s saddle pads, bags, horse tack, or any other handcrafted item, creating the pattern, sourcing the materials, and making the actual product takes a considerable amount of time.

I always do my absolute best to give you an accurate turnaround time. But sometimes life happens, just as it does in your life. I get sick. My horse colics and needs to go to the vet. I end up losing an entire day or two in the shop while also worrying myself to death about it. Things happen, and I try to be as transparent as possible when they do.

I know some people may see that as an excuse, it isn't. But the reason behind that “excuse” is that I am a real person with a real life behind this screen, just like you.

It’s disheartening that we sometimes forget to give each other grace, And I know that understanding goes both ways. Maybe you can’t afford the set we’ve discussed for weeks or months because your car broke down or your horse became sick or injured. I understand that! Life happens to all of us.

So when someone tells you something may take a little longer than originally planned, please try to give them some grace. I never deliberately delay anyone’s order. In fact, seeing older orders still in my shop gives me an incredible amount of anxiety, regardless of the reason they are still here.

I just wanted to put this out into the universe. Life has been very stressful behind the scenes, but I continue to show up every day and do my best for all of you.

Thank you for your patience with me as an artist, for remembering there is a person behind this business, and for continuing to support what I create. If you've read this far, I appreciate you 🥰

Making and designing show halters is really something I've always enjoyed 🥰 even better when it's your own horse!

Airosa (Andalusian cross) modeling her oak acorn show halter with real silver Acorn buckles and conchos. Dark chocolate brown leather with copper padding and brown/copper foil filigree overlay on the noseband with matching acorn concho.

I did make a matching show lead as well.

I think the colors really bring out her palomino color and her eyes, don't you think? 😍
