Are you still working on those UFOs with me? 😊

My September Project of the Month video is up, and I'm sharing this month's project as we keep working together to turn some of those unfinished projects into FINISHED ones!

☘️ NEW VIDEO – 2 1/2" Strip Series #31! ☘️

If you’ve been following along with this series, you know what I’m always trying to do…find more ways to use up all of those leftover 2 1/2" strips! 🪣✂️

For project #31, I’m making Celtic Knots, Moda’s 2026 National Sew a Jelly Roll Day pattern. While the pattern is designed to use a Jelly Roll, I thought it would also be a great one for digging into the scrap bucket and putting a bunch of those leftover strips to good use!

The quilt finishes at about 68" x 68", and you can easily make it larger by making more blocks and adding more rows. Just remember that you'll need additional background fabric if you decide to make it bed sized.

And make sure you stick around until the end! You’ll get to see the finished quilt, I’ll tell you about the BIG mistake I made 😬, and we’ll check in on that 2 1/2" strip bucket to see if I’m actually making any progress! 😂🪣

I hope this gives you another idea for turning those strips we quilters just can't seem to throw away into something beautiful!

🧵 Our newest 5" Square / Charm Pack video is here!

For #19 in the series, I pulled out NINE charm packs and made Charm Wednesday — but of course, I couldn’t leave the pattern completely alone. 😊

I made a few simple changes to the original Moda pattern that make the cutting easier AND eliminate four seams from every block. You still get the same great look…just with a little less work!

We’ve put together a supplemental cutting guide to go along with the video! You can find it in the Files section of our Facebook group, The Quilted Forest Friends.

And this was such a fun one for using charm packs I’ve collected over the years. There’s lots of Ruby Star Society mixed in with Robin Pickens, V and Co., Cathe Holden and more. ❤️

The boxes have been piling up again…so you know what that means! 📦🧵😂

I have a brand-new fabric unboxing video for you, and there is SO much fun stuff in this one! We’ve got more Fall, Christmas, and Halloween fabrics arriving, plus lots of other new collections, pre-cuts, panels, and more.

I’m opening new goodies from Moda, Riley Blake, P&B Textiles, Camelot, Hoffman, Studio E, and Blank Quilting. There are some beautiful new Moda collections, fun Christmas fabrics, book-themed prints, Lori Holt, Christmas Vacation, and plenty more that caught my eye!

🧵 It's time for our August Project of the Month!

Every month I look forward to drawing the next project number because I know so many of you are sewing right along with me. It's been so much fun seeing your progress and watching those UFOs slowly move into the finished pile!

If you haven't joined us yet, it's not too late! Pick 12 projects, number them 1–12, and each month we'll work on whatever number is drawn. Your projects can be quilts, crafts, knitting, crocheting, painting... anything you've been meaning to finish.

I hope you'll watch this month's video, then let me know what project you'll be working on during August. I'd love to hear about it—and even better, I'd love to see pictures as you make progress throughout the month!

Have you always wanted to make a hexagon quilt but dreaded the Y-seams? This quilt is made entirely with straight sewing—no Y-seams required!

In this 30th video of our 2 1/2" Strip Series, Shelley shows how to make the beautiful Tiddlywinks quilt using a Jelly Roll or your favorite 2 1/2" strips. It's one of those projects that looks much more complicated than it really is, and the possibilities for color combinations are endless!

Whether you're working through your scrap bucket or opening a brand-new Jelly Roll, we hope this project inspires your next quilt.

🎉 What a fun three days it’s been!

We’ve loved welcoming so many familiar faces and meeting new quilting friends from near and far. Thank you to everyone who has made this year’s Party Express Shop Hop so much fun! ❤️
