A brand new batch of our shop colorway Silience in Dyed in the Wool by Spincycle Yarns has arrived at the shop. These are all so stunning!

Have you thought we just have a spelling mistake in our colorways name? Nope!

SILIENCE. n. the kind of unnoticed excellence that carries on around you every day, unremarkably—the hidden talents of friends and coworkers, the fleeting solos of subway buskers, the slapdash eloquence of anonymous users, the unseen portfolios of aspiring artists—which would be renowned as masterpieces if only they’d been appraised by the cartel of popular taste, who assume that brilliance is a rare and precious quality, accidentally overlooking buried jewels that may not be flawless but are still somehow perfect.

Are you wondering how to knit or crochet off of our new ITO Yarn & Design cones? Don’t worry we’ve got that covered.

We’d like to introduce you to SpoolEz. We’ve brought in their cone and ball (or cake) with transfer sleeve .
SpoolEZ Cone was designed specifically for yarn cones to deliver a smooth and controlled unwinding while you knit or crochet. The cone slides on snug so no wabbling or difference in tension as it unwinds.
The SpoolEz ball with transfer sleeve acts the same way but includes a transfer sleeve for a smooth non snagging slip on and off of your yarns.

We are soooo excited to welcome ITO Yarn & Design to Knotty Lamb!

We brought in 6 of their beautiful yarns and each one is absolutely stunning. Kinu, Shio, Kin Gin, Sensi, Rakuda and So Kosho. These yarns are refined with delicacy, texture and expressive character which are deeply rooted in Japanese textile culture.
