Perhaps creation is only becoming still enough to be found by what wants to exist ✨🏺

Here is the process of another sacred vessel that found its way through me. What began as a feeling became form, and eventually, something I could hold 🤍

It was two years ago today my sweet, sweet family surprised me with a shower of our love! Looking back, it feels even more special knowing how far I’ve come since that day. Not only in my pottery journey, but in building this little dream into a business Derick and I get to share together. 🥹
What started as a beautiful part of our wedding season has grown into such a meaningful part of our life together. So grateful for the people who believed in me, celebrated my creativity, and continue to cheer us on. 🤍✨

(Funny how a little glaze party could hold so much meaning in hindsight 🙂‍↕️ )

At the beginning of summer, I started playing around with glazes trying to scoop up all my favorite colors of my soul and pour them into my pieces.
And now, I’m slowly creating my very own signature collections with glazes that feeeeeel like me.

These bowls were my first glaze success, and I can’t tell you how exciting it was to open the kiln and see the colors that were once an idea begin to take shape.

It’s been so fun creating a palette that feels like my own little language

What do you think? 🤍

Oh August, you felt somewhere between breaking and becoming, these were my days in clay 🫧🪞🪿

What if pottery has always been more than making?
What if it was a conversation between a woman and the earth?
Her hands press into clay.
Shape emerges,
And suddenly, something that once belonged to the ground can hold water, grain, food, flowers, offerings or life itself.
Maybe that’s the part that feels so sacred.
It isn’t just about making a vessel to finish.
It’s about leaving something of yourself inside the earth.
Giving space for creativity to breathe, letting the transformation unfold 🌙🤍

Two different hands, two different crafts, somehow making one thing ✨
There’s something so special about creating side by side, especially when the person beside you is your person. We get so excited for the commissions that let us blend our crafts. 🤍
We made this super sweet jewelry + phone tray for a local masseuse; how darling!
