First of all, thank you to Zakharie Kirchoff for asking me to fix up your great grandmotherās Kestner doll!
Secondly, I have an announcement:
As some of you know, I recently opened an independent bookshop in Forest Lake, MN (New Moons Bookshop - Forest Lake MN). I will continue to run The Doll Rescue on the side, of course. Although my turn-around times tend to be much longer, these days. The bookshop is now the official drop-off and pickup location for dolls.
After careful considering, Iāve decided to especially shut down this page. The Doll Rescue receives more than enough clients via word-of-mouth, and this page (especially the videos!) brings in more attention than Iām able to handle. As a dual business owner and busy mom, I no longer have the time to respond to comments and maintain the page. And thatās ok! I never intended to be āthat doll lady on onlineā, after all. I only want to be āthat doll lady over on Hwy 97.ā
Today Iāll begin the process of removing videos etc. to cut back on the traffic they bring in. Iāll leave regular posts visible, but I wonāt be posting again after today.
That said, I want to send out a tremendous thank you to all of you kind souls who have supported and interacted with this page in the last few years! The Doll Rescue will still be around for your doll restoration needsājust not an active presence on social media.
Best wishes to you all!
