Something else that debuted at Garage Galleries last weekend: I made a sticker! I’ve been a fan of Mr. Zip forever and I love finding him on the selvage of a vintage postage stamp sheet. So in honor of loving mail, the USPS, and stamps, I present, “Mr. Zip is my boyfriend.” It’s a 3x3” vinyl sticker perfect for your water bottle, laptop, notebook, or sticker wall. Thank you to everyone who came out yesterday for Garage Galleries! We had a GREAT day meeting new neighbors, shaking hands with friendly doggos, seeing familiar faces, and chatting about stamps and mail with you! A huge thanks to Naoto Hasegawa for all of his support & Mark Boroughf for hosting us this year. Let’s do it again next summer!

Garage Galleries was featured on Fox 32 Chicago this morning! Come out and see 100 artists this Saturday, noon-6pm! We’ll be at 505 Thomas with lots of new cards and art to share!

Garage Galleries Forest Park is a neighborhood art walk, where residents open their garages to local area artists.
