Micro-Beekeeping

HOME GROWN HONEY, and the business concept or trade I have invented I have called Micro Beekeeping:

I bring beehives to the backyards of my clients, where I service the hives at regular intervals, to provide my clients with the raw products of their hive at the end of the season, including their own bottled honey with their own custom designed honey label.

I respect anyone’s decision to move to Oregon or Idaho, but Russian River Bees & Honey is committed to staying in Sonoma County. I am a senior small-business owner who has invested my own money, time, and labor into building this company here.

Supporting this business keeps sales, tax revenue, agricultural activity, and future jobs in our county. My plan includes local honey production, pollination, farmers markets, online sales, wholesale accounts, and eventually a small retail location.

I am not asking to become a billionaire or move the business somewhere cheaper. I am asking for a fair opportunity and reasonable support to keep operating here, serve local residents, support Sonoma County agriculture, and create jobs for people who live here.

The strongest argument is not about Amy’s age or decision. It is that your business is rooted here, your investment is here, and public support for you would benefit Sonoma County directly.
