It is with the heaviest heart I announce the closing of Clever Kids - Children's Education and Bookstore.
With every business, there is risk, and opening the store is a risk I will never regret taking.
I have enjoyed my time with all of you, and will miss you all.
To the ones that liked, commented, or shared one or many of our posts, I thank you.
To those that told your neighbors, teacher friends, mom friends, etc., about the store, I thank you.
To those that came in for birthday gifts, baby shower gifts, Christmas shopping, etc., I thank you.
To those that lived out of town and placed online orders, I thank you.
To those that supported us from day one, or joined in the journey along the way, I thank you.
And to those who participated in book club or story time, I can't thank you enough. You made my time worth it. I appreciate you spending a part of your life with me.
There are many of you that feel like friends and family, and I will miss seeing you and your sweet kiddos weekly.
I know the closing of the store will come as a shock to many, and I apologize for that. It was in our best interest to only tell a handful of people before we closed our doors.
To those that have open gift certificates, I will be personally reaching out to settle those up. Feel free to message as well in case I do not have your contact information.
For all of those with story time stamp cards, I will try to find a location to leave the prize bucket for the kids to turn in their cards. I will update on that at a later time.
It has been a pleasure serving the citizens of Forney in our story times and events, and I will cherish our time at the bookstore.
