🐰❤️ A Little Something Close to Our Hearts ❤️🐰
If you’ve ever met us or been to our house, you probably already know that our bunnies are a HUGE part of our lives. They’re not just pets to us, they’re truly part of our family.
A while back, we found Always Sunny Sanctuary and Rescue in Shawnee, Oklahoma, and we were incredibly lucky to adopt Margie, Penelope, and Twirl from them. We’ll actually be making the trip back to the rescue soon with Twirl, where we’re hoping she can find a bunny friend of her own. ❤️
Something we’ve learned since having rabbits is that bunnies are such an underrated pet. They are incredibly smart, lovable, and have such funny little personalities, but unfortunately, they’re also often misunderstood. People sometimes don’t realize how much care rabbits require, how they should be housed and fed, or how long of a commitment they are. Sadly, that can lead to rabbits being neglected, mistreated, or surrendered when their owners realize they’re in over their heads.
That’s why rescues like Always Sunny Sanctuary and Rescue are so important. They give these little guys a second chance and help educate people on what proper rabbit care actually looks like. 🥹🐇
With several coral shows coming up over the next few weeks, we wanted to use our little corner of the reef community to help shine a light on a cause that means so much to us.

If you choose to donate physical supplies to us, we’ll make sure they get there when we make our trip to Shawnee.
Even something as simple as a bag of hay or a box of treats can help take a little bit of the financial burden off a rescue caring for so many animals.
