Hello, crafty friends! I'm sharing a layout for the Peartree Cutfiles Design Team. Today I'm using a file from the June Pearscription called, "Find Joy in the Details." I cut the file on a merlot colored cardstock, adding a cream and dark blue offset. I backed the letters with a striped paper and popped the entire title up off the page. I used papers and embellishments from the Flower Emporium collection. There's nothing more detailed than a remodel. I chose to add one 4x6" photo and 11 1.5" photos. This gave me room to add some journaling under the beautiful title. I love seeing the Pearscription files each month, because they push me out of my traditional scrapbooking zone of just holidays and events. I hadn't documented these photos, and this title was the perfect fit to tell the story. I hope this inspires you to find joy in the details today!

Do you ever hold onto photos until you find the perfect paper collection? I'm so glad that I waited to scrapbook the pictures from our summer VBS in 2025. The new Adventure Awaits collection matches the theme and color scheme perfectly! On this two page spread, I was able to incorporate 6 2.5" square photos and 2 6x4" photos. I tucked some of the adorable ephemera icons above photos in three different areas. Finally, I added a photo of myself into the "Adventure" cut out. The large letters offer a great place to add many colors and patterns of paper!

Dance recital 2026 💜 This weekend was harder to get through than graduation. Maybe it’s because dance was something that I was always involved in with Lauren. I watched through the window when she started her first class at age 3. I saw her catch the performance bug after her first recital the next spring. I helped with hair and makeup until she became more of an expert than I could ever be. I witnessed her dancing in the Nutcracker several years in a row. I was right there when she accomplished her dream of being on pointe. I was even there when a diagnosis and MS flare tried to take all of it away from her. It didn’t stop her. And yesterday, I was there in the wings backstage, tears rolling down my cheeks, as I watched her perform the Senior Dance with her friends. What a privilege, what a gift, to have been by her side for all of it. Thank you to everyone who cheered her on, who pushed her, who prayed for her. This chapter is ending, and another exciting chapter will begin. I am so proud of you, Lauren. And I’ll try to let go and let you fly. 💜🙏🏻🩰

Hello, crafty friends! Today I am sharing layout for the Design Team. For this page, I used a file from the April release called, "Sweet Days." I cut the file in brown cardstock, using red/pink polka dot paper for the letters. Then I added two offsets in Design Space to help tie my color palette together. I popped up the turquoise paper for added emphasis. I was excited to document our Swig adventure while visiting Utah. I paired the title with some papers and embellishments from . I added two 3x4" photos and some journaling to complete this page. I hope this inspires you to grab a dirty soda and create with a Peartree cutfile!

I created this layout for a sketch challenge in the gallery. Each week, they post several challenges. It's a great starting point if you feel like you are stuck in a creative rut. I decided to create my own plaid background with paper strips. I created a photo collage and fit 4 pictures on one 4x6" photo. All of the paper, ephemera and stickers are from . ❤

Hello, crafty friends! Today I'm sharing a brand new file and layout for the Design Team. This May release is called "Grad Mortarboard," and it is perfect for any graduate you may have in your life. I cut this file in black and green cardstock. Then I cut an offset in white and a larger offset in gold glitter. I used a combination of papers and embellishments from . My oldest daughter, Lauren, is graduating from high school over Memorial Day weekend. We gathered her friends and did a grad photoshoot the week before the big day, before all of the chaos. I was able to include 3 3x4" photos and one small 2.5" square photo. I wanted this layout to feel like a graduation cake, and the cutfile is the perfect cake topper!

This week is Ali Edward’s A Week in the Life. I’ve been doing this project for several years now. What I’ve noticed year after year is that life gets busier, and I take less and less of the “everyday life” photos. The details. The mundane routines. Honestly, this is probably one of the craziest weeks to add this to my list. We have had nonstop senior events before graduation. But it’s making me slow down here and there, noticing the details. My album will not come together for a few weeks, and that’s ok. I hope to share it soon! Take the photographs. 📷
