Peacefinders exists to promote the way of peace as taught by the Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ.

Our desire is that you may know the peace that comes from knowing, loving and following Him--a peace that the world cannot give, passing all understanding. Our number one goal is to help bring people into a close saving relationship with Jesus Christ that will prepare them to meet the crisis of the ages just before us and be ready to welcome Him as King of Kings and Lord of Lords when He comes in the clouds of glory with all His holy angels to take us home to our Heavenly Father. Over the past 47 years, we have distributed free books and other Christ-centered, Bible-based media to over 25 million homes and hundreds of correctional facilities across the United States, bringing hope, peace, comfort, and encouragement to thousands.

Have you ever wondered how some people can go through some of life’s most difficult trials and still remain joyful and full of hope? How is that possible?

We find a beautiful example of this in Scripture. When the people of Jerusalem rediscovered the Word of the Lord, their hearts were stirred, and they had reason to rejoice. Their response? They celebrated with great joy!

Their story reminds us that no matter what you or I may be facing today, we can find joy and renewed strength in God’s Word. When we feel weak, discouraged, or overwhelmed, His Word reminds us of His faithfulness and gives us the strength to keep going.

As Nehemiah 8:10 declares, “The joy of the LORD is your strength.”

Did you know Christopher Columbus, that famous and determined explorer thought he actually discovered the Garden of Eden or what is called Paradise?

As a matter of fact, he was so convinced, he wrote to the king and queen of Spain to tell them so.

Many people during his time thought it could and would be discovered here on earth. But were they right? No.

Perhaps they could have saved themselves a great deal of speculation, and Columbus could have saved himself some time, if they had carefully considered what the Scriptures teach.

In Genesis 8 there was a flood that destroyed the earth . In Revelation it speaks of the tree of life in Paradise (Rev 2:7 and eventually Paradise comes back down to earth Rev 21:2).

The point of it all. No matter how influential a person may be, it is important that we study the Scriptures for ourselves and know truth.

As we come to understand the truth revealed in Scripture, we come to know Jesus more fully and understand the way of salvation.

This applies just as much today as it did in the 1400s.

"The Lord will guide you continually and satisfy your soul, He will teach sinners in the way.” ( Is 58:11; Ps 25:8)

The path He leads us on will not always be easy. Along the way, we may encounter thorns and thistles, dry and difficult places, and seasons we would not have chosen for ourselves. Yet He is with us through every step, faithfully leading us toward our ultimate home with Him.

There is joy to be found in His presence today and one day, there will be unimaginable, everlasting joy in His presence forever.

Listen to His guidance, stay the course, live in joy, have His peace.

Sometimes we come to the place where we fully recognize there is nothing we can do but cry out to God.

We are desperate. We recognize so keenly that we have no power, no wisdom, no answers—nothing except the privilege of asking Him for His help.

And He does.

And in the asking and in the waiting; in the midst of it all, His peace becomes ours.

So grateful.
