ALERT: Increase awareness on online business scammers…
This post is to give warning and awareness to my fellow seller to be very careful and vigilant in making a transaction with any supplier anywhere, especially overseas. Definitely, I am not the first person to be making this statement as a victim, but just to increase the realization that deceitful people are still out there, and they are really upsetting!!!
This supplier sent me a message to do business with her. I did research to make sure that she is legit. She never did live selling to sell her items, instead she just sent messages to introduce her products and offer to do business with her. Then I found out that one of the sellers that I knew was also her client, so I said yes. Without a doubt I did my first order for perfumes, and the transaction was smooth and ok. The products were good, and everything went really well. That made me feel comfortable doing business with her. I did another transaction, and it was good and hassle-free, resulting in 5 transactions to be specific. It made me even more confident and built trust in continuing to make a transaction with her. Last April (2023), she said that their shipping will be temporarily postponed due to high-risk status. We had a consistent communication as to when the shipping will resume. Then May (2023) came, and she said they can already ship the package because it is already ok. I sent the shipping fee as soon as I could, however I did not expect that she would not respond to me like usual. She never acknowledges my messages anymore, I even ask humbly to at least give me an update, but she never replied. I keep on reaching out, I even have her contacted on her mobile number, but it seems that all her communication was cut off. I never heard her voice nor seen her face with any of our communication, which I honestly did not intend to do as I felt she was legit. I gave her enough time to settle the issue, but she never cooperated at all, until one time she sent me a message saying her account was blocked and she might use a different one. But that's just it. According to other sellers, this supplier frequently changes name, which I believe is already her scheme and modus operandi to make more victims, and we never know she is still doing it until now. That is why I am making this statement to give you a warning about this supplier.
