Bass Brutalist etched and assembled for featuring Soviet Brutalistic architecture.

I hadn’t played or built one of these since Kurt released them, and goddamn I forgot how they seriously rip. I tested it in front of my Peavey VTM and the next thing I know I’ve been playing on it for 30 minutes. And of course, it’s incredible on bass as well!

A set of Lost + Found etches for , one standard, the other “reverse”.
Mostly stock art with the exception of a few small changes. The L and R labels used the same shapes on both sides, so I made one a square and the other a circle. The other change is an alteration to the middle pathway toggle as the arrows and the plus sign in the stock art were too small and narrow to etch legibly.

These were a neat challenge. Thank you Mike for having me do another CB pedal(s) for you!

Today marks 7 years to the day that i started the journey down this path. Pictured are my first ever toner transfers, a Brutalist Jr. and a Deceiver, done with the “magazine paper” method. As you can see, the Brutalist didn’t take but the Dunn did, and that what was used to etch my first ever acid etching. And guess what, I still have it (slide 2). It doesn’t work and I haven’t touched it in 6 years. I should crack it and see what’s up as it’s one of favorite Rat clones.

Thank you to everyone who has used my etching services, who has bought pedals, and most of all, who have helped me learn and grow over the years. And a very special thank you to , , , , , , , , , and for your early support, advice, friendship and/or patronage. Without you guys I truly wouldn’t be doing this today. Thank you for everything and for putting up with me and my “eccentricities” over the years and I look forward to many more.

Citadel preamp, a “Plexi-fied” take on the Model T topology. As with the Model FeT, this sounds incredible and so close to the inspiration it’s uncanny.

TIDES Reverberator. One of two etches done for . This thing is like the ultimate wet reverb machine. Does it do normal reverb? Sure. But if you want it DRIPPING, this one’s for you.

Lovetone Big Cheese w/ external voltage bias and output mods for my buddies in , built on the pcb made with the Lovetone master .

Done in our signature Swamp Rust finish, this thing grates, gwonks, grunts and zips with a powerful tone sweep that offers an huge variety of sounds. Plus, when in Cheese mode, you have the ability to adjust the transistor voltage via the Cheese Power k**b. It’s alot of fun and I see why it’s had enduring love over the years! Fuzz freakay.

Custom Aqueduct etching for .
This was a neat one to do. Chris came to me with a mock up and some premade elements for his idea, made from images of the pedal found online. I took those elements that he created and redid them but with high resolution images that I scanned in straight from this exact unit (for alignment and detail purposes). I really enjoyed helping Chris bring his vision to life and to finally etch one of these aqueducts.
