A special finish from Denni’s Quilting Studio! 🧵💙

Tonight, I finally gifted my handsome grandson the quilt I made especially for him. I started piecing it more than 10 years ago, and I’m so happy I finally finished it this year while we were living in Kansas.

This was only the second quilt I had ever pieced. The inspiration came after I took him to the truck races for the first time—and he absolutely loved it! Every stitch holds a special memory of that day and of watching him grow over the years.

I planned to save it for Christmas, but anyone who knows me knows I’m not very good at waiting when I’m excited to give someone something made with love! ❤️

This is why I love quilting: every quilt tells a story and becomes a keepsake that can be treasured for years to come.

🧵💙 Almost there!! 💙🧵

This may not look like much to some, but to me it feels like a HUGE accomplishment! My longarm is almost completely set up in my new quilting studio! 🙌

After moving, starting a new job, settling into our new home, and everything else life has thrown at us these past few months, I am SO excited to finally be getting back to something that feels like my normal. ❤️

There’s still some organizing to do and a few finishing touches before I’m ready to start stitching, but seeing my Moxie standing in my new studio makes me so happy! 🥰

Denni’s Quilting Studio will be taking quilting orders again VERY soon! 🎉🧵

I can’t wait to get back behind my longarm and start turning your beautiful quilt tops into finished quilts again.

Stitching Memories, One Quilt at a Time. 💙

Stay tuned… I’m almost ready! 🪡✨

🧵 A Little Denni’s Quilting Studio Update 🏡

I know I’ve been pretty quiet on here, so I thought I’d give everyone a quick update on what’s been going on!

I’m officially back in Iowa and working full time for the State of Iowa. ❤️ Right now I’m staying with family while Tony is still back in Kansas, so we’re definitely ready to finally be in the same state again! 😂

The good news is we close on our new house August 24th! 🏡 I cannot wait to get moved in, get settled and, most importantly, get Denni’s Quilting Studio set back up! 🧵

I’ve really missed sewing, quilting and being creative. Once we get moved and I get my machines set up, I’m ready to get back at it!

Thank you for hanging in there with me while life has been a little crazy. ❤️ Lots of exciting changes are coming, and I can’t wait to share the new studio with you!

💙 A Little Life Update from Denni’s Quilting Studio 💙

Hi everyone!

I wanted to take a moment to explain why things have been so quiet here on the Denni’s Quilting Studio page lately.

As many of you know, my husband and I are in the middle of moving from Kansas back home to SE, Iowa. Between packing up an entire house, relocating my quilting studio, and finding a home to get settled into, life has been a little hectic!

I’m also excited to share that I start my new job on Tuesday, which is another big adventure for our family.

If you’ve entrusted me with a quilting project, please know that I have not forgotten about you. As soon as my sewing machines and longarm quilting machine arrive in Iowa and are set up, I will begin finishing all current orders as quickly as possible.

I truly appreciate your patience, understanding, and support during this transition. Your kindness means more than you know, and I’m so thankful for each and every one of you.

This move is opening an exciting new chapter for Denni’s Quilting Studio, and I can’t wait to share the journey with you—from setting up my new studio to creating many beautiful quilts together.

Thank you again for sticking with me. I look forward to getting back behind the machine very soon!

🩵 With gratitude,
Denni

🚨 Denni’s Quilting Studio Update 🚨

Orientation Starts Soon 👀

I’ve been told that two new coworkers will be arriving at the studio soon.

Now, before anyone gets too excited, I should mention that neither one has quilting experience, I’m not convinced they’ll be much help with housekeeping, and there’s a pretty good chance they’ll spend most of their day just standing around looking cute.

I’ve already started planning their wardrobes, and let’s just say they may become the most fashionable members of the team. 🧵✨

Stay tuned… introductions are coming soon, and I have a feeling these two are going to make quite the impression.

Any guesses who my newest studio assistants might be? 👀

Something exciting is happening at Denni’s Quilting Studio… 👀

I’ve been working behind the scenes on a few things to make the studio even more fun, and let’s just say I may have some new helpers arriving soon.

They’re full of personality, eager to lend a wing… I mean hand… and I have a feeling they’re going to become a big part of the studio.

For now, that’s all I’m telling you. 😊

Any guesses who these special new helpers might be?

Stay tuned… introductions are coming soon! 🩵🧵✨

OMG… I am so pleased with how this bow turned out 😍🇺🇸

The colors, the fireworks fabric, the patchwork details… it all came together even better than I imagined. I love creating pieces that feel handmade, cozy, and full of personality, and this one definitely makes a statement on a front door ❤️🤍💙

This bow is available and ready for a new home for $75 + tax and shipping. Since every bow is handmade and designed individually, no two bows are ever exactly the same ✨

If you would love this one or would like me to create another bow using this same fabric coordination, comment “BOW” below and I’ll message you 🧵💙

Thank you all so much for supporting Denni’s Quilting Studio and cheering me on through this journey. It truly means more than you know ❤️

✨ Sneak Peek from Denni’s Quilting Studio ✨

Working on something fun and patriotic behind the scenes today 🇺🇸❤️💙

I’ve been mixing and matching these beautiful star and fireworks fabrics to create another oversized quilted bow — and I’m honestly loving how vibrant this one is turning out already!

There’s just something special about seeing all the pieces come together from fabric strips on the table to a finished statement bow. ✂️✨

What do you think of this patriotic combination so far?
Would you decorate with this for Memorial Day, the 4th of July, or all summer long?

✨ Sneak peek of the next bow coming to life at Denni’s Quilting Studio ✨

I am absolutely in love with this beautiful Robert Kaufman patriotic collection and all the rich reds, deep blues, stars, and fireworks throughout these fabrics. 🇺🇸❤️💙

There’s something so exciting about laying out all the fabrics and watching the design start to come together piece by piece. Every bow I make is designed with care, creativity, and a whole lot of love for quilting and handmade craftsmanship.

This one is already turning into such a stunning statement piece and will be available for sale once finished! ✂️✨
