🎸🔧 Gibson J-45 Bridge Reglue
Steve is carefully removing the bridge after heating it to soften the old glue, allowing the joint to be properly cleaned and prepared for fresh glue and realignment.

With roughly 160 pounds of string tension working against it, an acoustic guitar bridge takes a tremendous amount of stress. A lifting bridge is something to address before it becomes a bigger problem If your bridge needs a fix, Koenke Guitars is happy to help. 😎

The neck pickup has a modified, exposed cover to let the full magnetic field come through, adding a little extra character while keeping that classic Tele voice.

25 years later, we still remember exactly where we were and what we were doing on September 11, 2001. Two people, two perspectives, one day we will never forget. Where were you on September 11, 2001? If you’re comfortable, share your story so we may never forget.

My wife was working on the 74th floor of Tower Two at the World Trade Center. It was her first job out of college. That morning, riding the subway into work, she watched the unimaginable unfold — smoke, flames, and people jumping from the towers. She ran through the streets among the chaos right after Tower 2 was struck. She was incredibly fortunate to make it out alive. The one thing she was able to save from that day was this business card from her first job. She has kept it for 25 years and holds it dearly — a small reminder of the life she had and everything that was lost.

I was working for Hertz Rental Car at the time. I remember driving to work near Woodcliff Lake NJ and seeing the towers burning from the road. When I arrived, everyone gathered around the television, watching the news and the heartbreaking images of the buildings collapsing.

We honor and remember all those who lost their lives, their families, the first responders, and the incredible search-and-rescue dogs who helped in the aftermath.
