Day03 of ConGregate 2026 aka ConGregate 12 opened for us with our Tea 101 or Tea Talk panel. We ran out of time! We warned that we could talk about this All Day. I bemoaned not getting to talk about Clipper Ships and how Tea drove Technological Innovation, or about how what we call Chai Tea came about, and someone suggested we do a separate Tea History session, and a separate one for different ways to prepare tea! Multiple panels at a convention?! Wow!

Now, ConGregate 2026 or ConGregate 12 is on the books. Many thanks to the staff, organizers, volunteers, and the new hotel for a great weekend!

What marvelous timing! Here we are, home from a convention, and we're enjoying this well-timed Blast From the Past of an ad in TV Guide for a 1977 convention! (And laughing over the double-take-inducing ad that appears, at first, to be part of the ad for the convention!)

Moments In Tea greetings from Day 02 of ConGregate 2026 or 12.
First, carryover from late evening Day 01. E J Isaacs - Author was in a Readings Hour along with (from left to right) Eli Rainwater Books, Angela Giddings, and Christian. ‘Twas a great variety of stories and made for an entertaining hour.
On Day02, EJ had a book signing, along with author M Myers. The book signing table was immediately behind the Moments In Tea space, so I was able to pop around to get the picture.
We got to visit some more with The Halfling and the Spaceman. We met them when their podcast interviewed EJ, last year. (Need to look up the link to that & share!)

The Moments In Tea pop-up mini tea shop is here at ConGregate 2026! This adventure looks like a lot of fun: is in a different location this year, so the weekend will be one of exploration, and still, The Gang’s All Here!

I can’t show you in multiple pictures, as I normally do, due to technical difficulties. However, you can see Wayward Stitches - Make it Sew nearly behind us.
Gamma Rae Geek is down that same aisle.
Space Wizard Science Fantasy is in Authors Alley at a table immediately outside the Dealer Hall door we’re nearest!
Fabled Embers is across from us, next to author Sherrilyn Kenyon.
Spoonwood Visuals is behind the row across from us.
Fraser Sherman, Author is in Authors Alley, this year.

And there are so many more authors and artists and vendors to browse in between panels and Author Readings and Book Signings, all of which E J Isaacs - Author will be taking part in, with his first book, A New Beginning, in The Unforgiving Stars series.

True, today is Day 03, finale of ConCarolinas 2026, 25th Anniversary of , Established 2001! But we’re not done yet! Still plenty of FUN and shopping to be had!

New array of tasting samples available at Moments In Tea on this last day of the convention.

Our friends, Gamma Rae Geek, are right beside us in the accustomed place!

Haven’t made it over to our friends’ pegasus 3D Print, LLC booth, but we’ve seen them about, too!
