Dangerous for humans and horses! Stay hydrated, with both water and electrolytes, and strive to keep your horses hydrated as well! Salt licks, electrolytes, loose salt added to feed, shade, fans and cool downs by rinsing off are all helpful. Rinsing at night helps lower core temp while the temp dips a little, and gives horses a chance to recover. Equilix tubs contain salt, plus vitamins and minerals and can be helpful as well. Monitor how much your horses are drinking and know the signs of heat exhaustion and heat stroke in people and horses!
