Below are some mini carvings of Alashan Agate. Why is Alashan Agate so expensive, read below ⬇️

Alashan Agate at is found in a very remote region of the Gobi Desert across inner Mongolia and China.

The base rocks formed millions of years ago from cooling volcanic magma.

Mining Alashan Agate is in harsh desert conditions were workers often dig by hand under extreme heat and shifting sands, making the extraction process labor, intensive and costly.

Millions of years of exposure to desert winds, extreme heat, and freezing temperatures, naturally shape, and polished the stones, creating unique services that cannot be artificially duplicated.

Premium specimens with unique shapes or detailed, artistic carvings drive up prices significantly beyond standard commercial agate.
