Hello all. Well a sad day here for the shop. After a lot of thinking and looking at all factors and variables we will not be able to reopen. This disaster hit way harder than Irma, then 12 month redtide, then a pandemic. And now another hurricane. Our house took a big hit and all of our available resources have to go to rebuilding our home. This is very hard for us as you all have supported us through it all. But with snowbird season pretty much gone, people trying to rebuild, extremely bad water for a while, our tackle distributor under 8 feet water, not knowing if they will be able to reopen. Shrimp fleet decimated, and Shiner delivery tough due to so many shops either gone or damaged.
IF someone has the resources to make it through this we are open to selling it all to you. Have talked to landlord and they will give us sometime to see if someone wants to start a shop back up.Asking $10, 000 that's for everything single thing in shop, and the dedicated customer list. If interested message us here and we will call you. If no interest in buying shop then in about 2 weeks we will have hurricane sale. Again there no way we can thank all of you for supporting the shop and the friends we have made.

Keep your spirits up.

Good morning everyone. Hope everyone is safe. Well now the slog begins for many of us. The shop made it through with no damage besides lose of all bait. There are bait shops in Matlacha fort myers and Sanibel that are completely gone, and many closer to the coast that had feet of water. So am very grateful that we only had inches. Vendor situation, heard from shrimp vendor, they are ok but the sh*****ng industry is in turmoil. Shrimp boats in Fort Myers and Pine Island are jumbled and on shore. The Tampa fleet faired better. Have not been in contact with either of our shiner vendors or our tackle supplier out of Iona. So with this we are gonna be closed for awhile. Besides getting bait there are not enough shops open if vendors can get anything, to make a delivery without losing money. Right now our attention is getting our house and lives back to normal. So even though the shop made it, with no bait and not enough customers to cover costs, opening now is not an option. we will keep updating you. For reels and rod repair. All rods and reels made it with no damage. But the rod ship at home has been totally demoed as it was in water. Again no damage to any rods, but it is gonna be awhile until we get the shop rebuilt. So this is now a dangerous time. We are all tired, and worn out. So be careful and lets get through this.

Hi everyone. 1st we really hope everyone is safe. OK shop is going to be closed for awhile, I mean weeks, if not longer, not days. 1st like many, many of you we have to rebuild our lives and fix damage from the storm to our house. 2nd bait is going to be very difficult to get for a while as pine island and Sanibel boats got hit very hard. Tampa boats may of faired better but not the vendor down here. So right now let's thank God we are alive. Take a moment for those that lost loved ones from this storm, and please be safe during this recovery time. The shop made it with only a little water. Lost all our live and frozen bait as well as all our worms. So kinda hard to sell bait when you don't have any to sell. Keep up your spirits. We got through Irma we will get through this.

OK everyone time to hunker down and start thinking how good the fishing is going to be once Ian leaves. Be safe everyone
