Good morning all my history friends and family. It is with sad and unfortunate news that Battlefield Books and Gifts will be closing on 30 September 2026. It was a fun experience and year of meeting many of you. To end our last month, all merchandise will be on sale from 2 September through 15 September at a 25% discount. From the 16th through the 30th whatever is left will be at a 50% discount. Most of the store fixtures (shelf units, some book cases, etc.) will be for sale as well towards the end of the month.
As stated, it was a pleasure meeting everyone and will see you on the battlefields!

At Battlefield Books and Gifts, we are delighted to highlight our latest acquisitions. A biography on Henry Knox makes for an excellent read in celebration of our 250th milestone. The book recounts Knox's pivotal role in transporting artillery across snow-covered mountains to fortify Boston, shedding light on his instrumental contributions to America's early years. We also feature a biography on Gen Augustus Willich, a notable figure in the Battle of Chickamauga, detailing his journey from the Prussian Army to his Civil War endeavors. Furthermore, "A Choice Between Right and Duty" presents the personal letters of Luther Strong, providing an unfiltered perspective on his time in the 49th Ohio Volunteer Infantry. We encourage you to visit us and explore these remarkable biographies.
