It is with a heavy heart that we announce the postponement of the 2024 Vintage Pickin’ events. Due to unforeseen circumstances and challenges, and after much prayer, we have felt the Lord nudging us to pull back this year and take some time.
We hope you understand and will not let this deter you from coming to future events because it is our prayer that we come back better than ever, refreshed, with a renewed vision for an amazing weekend of VP with all of you.
I know this is disappointing to many of you, just as it is to us. I’ve cried enough tears to fill a river over the last month making this decision, but today before I wrote this email, the Lord gave me the following scripture:
Proverbs 3:5-6
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways, submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”
He was reminding me this morning that I can trust him even in difficult decisions, even when it’s not what you had planned. I want to remind you of that too in whatever you’re facing in this season of your life.
VP wouldn’t be what it is today without all of you and our wonderful vendors! We are so grateful for each one of you and the support you have shown us over the years.
This was all just a tiny dream that God planted in my heart almost 10 years ago, and it started in our backyard in a tiny town. I’m still amazed, and the beautiful thing is all of you have been such a big part of what He has done with this dream of ours.
While we can’t commit to events in 2024 at this time, just know you guys will be the first to know when the time is right, and we’re ready to come back full force. You all are our VP family, and we love you all so much.
