HOORAY for more bookstore hours! 🎉📚

Starting tomorrow, we’re so excited to extend our hours thanks to some awesome new help on staff. You’ll be seeing some new faces around here so give them a warm welcome! We’ll also still have extra hours sometimes on event nights.

Thank you all so much for your support over the past year, and through this whole transition to our new space! 💛

The amount of work we’ve put in over the last year to get to this point is unreal. Through every bump in the road, we trusted God’s plan and stayed patient, even when it wasn’t easy.

We’re so grateful to Alice Alice Circle for believing in us and sharing her space with us. (It’s just plain perfect if you ask us!!) We also couldn’t ask for a better neighbor.

This upcoming week’s hours:
Monday through Saturday
10:00 AM to 2:00 PM

Supper Club Round 2 with Blue Jug of Fort Payne + Butter Snob Baking & Butter Snob Baking, inside Blue Jug of Fort Payne ❤️ using Essentials of Italian Cooking by Marcella Hazan 🇮🇹🍕🍝

Here are the dishes we tested out tonight:
- Baked Crespelle with Spinach, Prosciutto, and Parmesan Filling
- Chicken Fricassee with Porcini Mushrooms, White Wine, and Tomatoes
- Braised Pork Chops in Two Wines
- Gnocchi in Tomato Sauce with Onion and Butter
- Bruschetta
- Pizza (homemade dough recipe!)
- Braised Carrots with Parmesan
- Italian Chocolate Mousse
- Almond Cake

We love Supper Club, and we LOVE partnering with Blue Jug & Butter Snob Baking! Sarah and Jason are so intentional with everything they choose to stock on their shelves and everything they do at Blue Jug here in Fort Payne. They're big supporters of local farmers, ethical business, and putting money back into our community. They don't just carry alkaline water — they carry specialty grocery items, local produce and meats, an amazing wine selection, and homemade (well-made!) pastries. We love them, and we want you to love them too!

We're looking forward to another partnership with them soon. What cuisine should we explore next?
