Still have some frozen baits, tackle and other items at 50% off. Lots of whiting in the area right now. A few pompano were caught and they were all small. A few trout were at Bear Point and taking top water plugs. Snook at the jetty along with a lot of jacks. They were busting the schools of mullet. None of the boats in the marina went offshore yesterday.

Good morning. We still have some tackle, bait buckets, rod & reel combos and frozen baits for 50% off. I was out of town yesterday so no fishing report this morning. Back at it tomorrow.

Lots of mullet along the beach and around the jetty and the snook and jacks are busting the schools all day. Heard there were small cobia in 65 feet of water yesterday. Some snapper and triggerfish in the same area. A few kings in 30 foot. Other than jacks and snook there were a few trout reported up by Harbor Branch. A few snapper along the channel edges. Not much else to report.

All tackle, t shirts and frozen baits are 50% off. The snook bite was on fire last night around 830pm at both bridges and at the Turning Basin. Live baits were working the best. Lots of bigger tarpon were rolling in the inlet yesterday. Some snapper at the South Bridge during the day. The jetty was busy with jacks, snook and a few small snapper. Saw several good schools of mullet near the jetty.

Well..you know what they say - all good things must come to an end. After 24 years in the bait and tackle business we are closing our doors. Over the next several weeks we will be transitioning the bait shop into a full time office for the marina. We have enjoyed and appreciate all of our customers from over the years. Watch for posts with sale prices. Thank you. Capt. Joe.

The inshore and offshore bite was good yesterday if you went early as the storm rolled in just after noon. Dwayne Bergeron and Jeanette DeWitt sent in this pic of their catch in 50 feet. Lots of snapper in the same area and kings in 30 foot. Inshore the snapper were along the channel edges to the north of the North Bridge and taking small live shrimp. The jetty was busy with catches of snook, snapper, sheepshead, sharks and plenty of jacks. The tarpon are rolling inside the Inlet. Saw a small one about 20 pounds that was released right away. Don't forget out t shirts are 50% off.
