If you plant them, they will come! 🦋 After finding a variety of different caterpillars on our host plants (dill, parsley, passion vine, milkweed and more), we are now enjoying our butterfly paradise at the nursery! Adult butterflies need a continuous supply of nectar from early spring through late fall, achieved by planting species with staggered bloom times, so planting a mixture of host plants and nectar-rich flowering plants is important! Due to extreme heat, shop Redbud before noon today and watch our page for our hours throughout the week. Located 1 mi E of Fort Scott on Hwy 54.

Cockscomb, Black Pearl Peppers, Dichondra, Calibrachoa, Gomphrena, Angelonia, Pentas, Vinca, Sunflowers, Zinnias, Mezoo and more -- we planted a rainbow of heat-tolerant plants in this big trough and they have proven to be pretty tough in this crazy heat!
