Production Team Member
Sharum’s Garden Center is looking for a dependable, hardworking individual to join our Production Team. This position plays an important role in helping us grow, maintain, and prepare quality plants for our retail customers.
Responsibilities include:
* Planting, watering, fertilizing, and maintaining plants
* Caring for plants throughout the growing process
* Maintaining and organizing greenhouse and growing areas
* Stocking and maintaining plants in our retail areas
* Loading, unloading, moving, and carrying plants and materials
* Keeping production areas clean, organized, and efficient
* Assisting with other nursery and garden center tasks as needed
What we're looking for:
* Reliable and willing to work as part of a team
* Comfortable working outdoors and in greenhouse environments
* Able to work in hot, cold, and changing weather conditions
* Able to regularly lift, carry, and move plants and materials
* Willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities over time
* Weekend availability is important
* Previous experience in a commercial greenhouse, nursery, or production environment is a plus, but **we are willing to train the right person**
This is a hands-on position that can be physically demanding, but it is also an opportunity to learn about plants, production, and the nursery industry while developing new skills and taking on more responsibility.
Our workload changes throughout the year, but we are looking for someone interested in long-term employment and becoming a valuable part of our team.
