I almost didn’t post this.

For the past year, Studio Hela has been pretty quiet because I was recovering from major knee surgery. Just as I was finally getting back into the studio and reopening the shop… life decided to throw one more plot twist, and I was laid off from my full-time job.

It’s been… a lot.

Instead of pretending everything is perfectly fine, I decided to make a video about it.

It’s part fake documentary, part life update, part behind-the-scenes look at what it’s really like trying to build a tiny handmade business while figuring out what comes next.

No perfectly curated influencer life over here—just me, a lot of pink, a little existential dread, and an unreasonable amount of hope. 😂

It’s been a long week… and somehow it’s only Tuesday. 🫠

Today’s chaos was at least the fun kind. I spent the day bringing a whole lineup of new goodies to life—restocking my On My Way to Get a Sweet Little Treat jelly keychains, designing two brand-new stickers (including one for everyone who is one minor inconvenience away from becoming feral 🐰🔥), and making more of my Do Not Disturb door hangers for the readers who absolutely do not want to be perceived.

Now if you’ll excuse me… I think I’ve earned a sweet little treat. 🍓✨

Besties… after more than a year away recovering from major surgery, Studio Hela is finally back!!

Today is something I’ve been looking forward to for a very long time, and I’m so excited to say…

💖 The website is officially OPEN!

I’ve filled the shop with so many new goodies while I was away—gift bundles, planners, stickers, mugs, bookish accessories, and lots of delightfully unhinged little treasures that are ready to find new homes.

Running Studio Hela has always been about creating tiny moments of joy for people who appreciate pink things, books, sarcasm, and healing through retail therapy. (It’s practically a medical treatment. Don’t fact-check me.)

Thank you for sticking with me while I focused on recovering. Your kindness, encouragement, and patience helped keep this dream alive, and I genuinely can’t wait to start packing your orders again.
