We love it when we’re able to start early in the morning when it’s nice and cool outside! This morning we replaced the entire HVAC system for this customer. Their original system had a refrigerant leak and was well over 20 years old. Every year that The Daily Reporter has done the best of Hancock County, we have come in second place with the exception of 2024, which we came in first place. We are going up against multimillion dollar companies with dozens of employees. We are a small locally owned and operated company in Greenfield/Hancock County. We appreciate all the votes, this year we chose not to do any type of advertising or promoting for the best of Hancock County because they have kind of lost their way with just trying to promote local companies now it’s all about the money. We do appreciate the votes for our business. Anytime we get a second place finish behind all of the heating and cooling companies they have popped up across Greenfield/Hancock County over the years we will always consider that a win in our book!

This unit was less than five years old, but had never been serviced since it was installed, and this particular neighborhood has a lot of cottonwood due to the unit not being able to breathe it prematurely killed the compressor. This is why yearly maintenance is so important on your Hvac system! The coils on all four sides were completely blocked 100%. I’m honestly surprised it lasted this long. This week was insanely busy with the 90° temperatures! We finished off our Friday with another emergency furnace/air-conditioning replacement and now we have a weekend full of emergency no air-conditioning service calls. We had another nice early start this morning to try to beat the heat. This was another emergency air conditioner replacement for a customer in a trailer. If you don’t know, these are not insulated very well and can easily get hotter inside than the temperature is outside when the air conditioner is not working. These last couple days have been very hot! Today we knocked out another emergency air conditioner/heat pump install today! As of right now we have two full installs tomorrow and a bunch of service calls. We will try to squeeze in anybody else we can tomorrow but we are pretty well booked solid for Wednesday so we will probably be scheduling for Thursday as of right now. We knocked out another emergency furnace/air conditioner replacement this morning. This had another Bryant TXV that was bad. The TXV was just replaced last year and was already sticking again.
