🔥 THIS FRIDAY 🔥
Hyde Brothers, Booksellers will welcome local author Carol Butler; Genois Wilson Brabson, the first woman firefighter in Fort Wayne; and local illustrator and community muralist Teresa Yarbrough to the bookstore on Friday May 8th from 5-7pm!

All three will be on hand to chat with attendees and sign copies of the book “Genois Wilson, Firefighter: She Dared to be First," written by Butler and illustrated by Yarbrough. The book tells the story of the first woman firefighter on the Fort Wayne Fire Department. The book inspires new generations of children to dream big and overcome obstacles to achieve their goals.

Please consider purchasing a book and donating it to a child that you want to inspire, or to a place where children hang out, such as a barber shop or beauty shop, a youth center, a school library or a Little Library.

Copies of the book will be available for purchase at the event. The event is free and open to the public.
