Jason Davis served as Conser Music’s full-time music instructor. He has taught students there since 1996 as well holding an artist in residence position at Weisser Park Elementary, FWCS arts magnet school. He attended
Ball State University’s School of Music, studying under Dr. Erwin Mueller and Jeff Nearpass. He studied with Braham Dembar, principle percussionist with the Fort Wayne Philharmonic. Jason performed with the Ball State Symphonic Orchestra, Ball State Jazz Band, Ball State Latin Percussion Ensemble, Ball State University Chorus, IPFW Jazz Band, IPFW Percussion Ensemble, IPFW Orchestra, as well as with numerous other bands and groups of varied styles. He is currently the guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter for Streetlamps for Spotlights. His 20+ years of teaching experience includes private lessons, marching bands, percussion ensembles, jazz bands, and clinics. When not teaching or performing, Jason can be found recording and producing other musicians at Off the Cuff Sound, his all-analog recording facility. Related Work
