I am mesmerized every time I visit.
Faberge is known for the Easter eggs that the company created for the imperial family. 9 imperial eggs are only display at the museum each one containing a unique surprise.
Interestingly enough one of the most famous jewelry brands did not focus on jewelry but rather on art objects and gift items.
The brand didn’t just cater to imperial family and nobility they produced a wide range of mini eggs and other more accessible items.
Brand’s unique allure are the mysteries surrounding the items lost during and after the revolution. Of the 50 eggs produced 43 are known to survive. One lost egg was recently discovered, purchased for gold weight somewhere in Mid West USA at an antique show or shop and later proven to be the original Fabergé 3rd produced egg. It’s exciting to think that there are long lost treasures out there to be uncovered.
