Very different = not profitable 🫠
I don’t make money content creating! Except for the handful of subscribers who pay a very small monthly fee (shout out to you guys, ILYSM) I have yet to make any money as a content creator!
But I would never compromise my personal ethic around sustainability and fast fashion for financial security here! I often wish I could link clothes, because I want to make life easier for all of my followers, but the truth about sustainable fashion is it is that it takes intentional effort and time to curate a thoughtful wardrobe. The speed at which we can click a link and purchase a piece of clothing is not sustainable in any way!
I want to encourage you to slow down, think about the purchases that you make, sit with them and anticipate how they will bring more versatility and joy to your wardrobe! And then wear those pieces over and over and over again, not just for a season! Around here, we re-wear our clothes 🥰

A sustainable wardrobe doesn’t have to be one that is 100% secondhand! Sustainability is also about rewearing, repairing and re-envisioning your existing wardrobe! Mixing and matching with secondhand pieces and always shopping secondhand first!
For the visual learners, here’s how I did exactly that the last two weeks! Any of the “new” items I brought into my wardrobe this spring have been secondhand, but I’m also rewearing and restyling staples that I purchased new from years past (mostly jeans).
