Responsibilities and Duties
• Operate the engraving machine (trotec laser and other machines) in accordance with standard operating procedure.
• Physically load product on and off machine.
• Use machine to engrave artwork according to order requirements.
• Communicate with other team members regarding incoming orders, file issues, and more to ensure all timelines are met.
• Communicate with the team regarding any priority tasks or concerns for completion within anticipated timeframe.
• Understand the nuances of each unique product and apply knowledge to appropriately adapt methods to ensure the best result possible is obtained.
• Troubleshoot any product issues during production with a keen eye for the balance between successfully fixing issues/saving costs and producing a high-quality piece.
• Inspect and maintain the laser engraver for equipment safety and quality on a regular schedule. Notify management of any issues immediately.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment.
• Assist management with related projects as they arise.
• Work successfully both independently and within a team environment. Consider the ideas of others and work collaboratively to accomplish assigned tasks.
• Share your passion for both your role and the company with colleagues and external audiences.
• Be accountable and forward thinking in your actions.
Qualifications

• Team oriented in a fast-paced environment
• Have basic problem-solving skills and be able to diagnose and fix minor issues or equipment failures
• Ability to accurately read measurements and use measuring tools
• Dependable, self-motivated and organized
• Ability to maintain a clean working environment
• Ability read, understand and follow work order instructions in English
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with proficiency in English
• Basic computer skills
• Basic mathematical skills (i.e. dimensions, quantities, fractions)
• Excellent attention to detail
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to be at work on time
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
• Prolonged standing
• Lifting – up to 75 pounds
• Bending & stooping
• Repetitive motions
• Must be able to work 9am – 4 pm
