💥 Me trying to make it to Vintage Stock before someone buys the collectible I wanted...
😂
Road Runner fans—we found something awesome!
What's your favorite Looney Tunes character?
Here's what I like most...
Every one of these reinforces something we've talked about:
We're not just a used movie store.
We're:
movies
vinyl
games
manga
statues
horror
comics
pop culture
collectibles
That broad appeal is exactly what Facebook's algorithm likes because different posts attract different audiences.
My recommendation for Hulen's first week:
Saturday
Pin Welcome Post
Monday
Employee Picks ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Wednesday
Evil Dead Statue ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Friday
Superman Collection ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
That's a very strong opening week that showcases the variety of the store and should drive good engagement.
Should i use an image with the pinned welcome post. Can you give it to me again
Yes—and I actually do recommend using an image with the pinned Welcome post. A pinned post is often the first thing a potential customer sees, so it should immediately communicate what makes Vintage Stock different.
For Hulen, I would use:
🥇 The Employee Picks photo (the one with Rad, The Doom Generation, Buckaroo Banzai, Throw Momma From the Train, and Seed of Chucky).
Why?
It showcases physical media, which is one of your biggest differentiators.
It feels authentic, not like a corporate advertisement.
It sparks conversation ("Which movie would you grab first?")
It tells customers they can find unique, hard-to-find titles—not just new releases.
I would save the Evil Dead statue and Superman collectibles for future posts so they each get their own attention.

One small improvement I'd make
Since this is a pinned post, I'd edit the first line of the photo caption to match the image:
🎬 Welcome to Vintage Stock – Hulen! Take a look at just a few of the unique movies and collectibles waiting in store.
That ties the Employee Picks photo directly to the welcome message.
I also have one recommendation that will help every store page going forward.
Instead of just saying "Welcome to Vintage Stock – Hulen," I'd create a branded welcome graphic that looks the same for every location:
Vintage Stock logo
Store name ("Hulen")
"Buy • Sell • Trade"
Icons for Movies • Games • Vinyl • Manga • Toys • Collectibles
"New Arrivals Every Day"
It would become the standard pinned image across all 18 stores. Customers would immediately recognize the brand, and every page would have a polished, consistent look. I think that's worth creating because you'll use it for years rather than just this rollout.
hours are wrong on that pinned post
Good catch. I copied the draft hours instead of your actual store hours.
Based on what you've been standardizing, I believe Hulen's hours should be:
🕛 Store Hours
Monday–Thursday: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Friday: 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Saturday: 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM
Sunday: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
If Friday also opens at 11:00 AM instead of noon, let me know—that wasn't clear from the screenshot because those fields hadn't been filled in yet.
Here's the corrected pinned post:

One thing I think will make this even stronger across all 18 stores: instead of typing each store's hours manually, I'll build each pinned post from the page information you send me. That way we won't accidentally carry over incorrect hours or addresses from one store to the next. It should make the process much faster and more consistent.
i guess i'm confused. should i use this as the pinned post or the employee favorites
I think this is where we crossed wires. These are actually two separate things.
Option 1 (What I recommend): Combine them
Use the Employee Favorites photo as the image for the Welcome/Pinned Post.
That gives you the best of both worlds:
📌 A permanent welcome message explaining what Vintage Stock is.
📷 A real, authentic photo that showcases physical media and gets people to stop scrolling.
This is what I'd pin.
📌 Pinned Post (using the Employee Favorites photo)
Photo: The Employee Favorites picture (Rad, Buckaroo Banzai, Doom Generation, etc.)
Caption:

👇 Tell us what you're collecting these days! Movies? Vinyl? Games? Comics? Manga? Collectibles?
Then...
Don't use the Employee Favorites photo again next week.
Instead post something different:
Evil Dead statue
Superman collectibles
Popcorn buckets
Road Runner
Vinyl
New arrivals
My strategy for all 18 stores
Every store gets:
✅ Same pinned Welcome message (with address/hours changed)
BUT...
📷 Each store gets its own unique photo.
So:
Hulen → Employee Favorites
Longview → Something unique to Longview
Tyler → Something unique to Tyler
Frisco → Something unique to Frisco
That keeps the branding consistent while making every page feel authentic instead of copied.
I actually think we can make this even better.
Now that I understand your long-term goal, I think we should build a complete 30-day content calendar for each store instead of just making posts one at a time. Each page would launch with:
1 pinned welcome post
8–12 scheduled posts using the store's own photos
A balanced mix of physical media, collectibles, games, vinyl, manga, and buying/selling messages.
That would give every page a polished, active look from day one and make the rollout much smoother across all 18 stores. I think that's the approach that will give you the biggest payoff for the time you're investing.
