SO SAD! BEDFORD SNOWBALL
I have lived in the midcities most of my life and this place has been part of its entirety for almost 50 years of it. It was a great place for friends and family as a kid up to taking our own kids. It is a shame. Forever life lesson # Don't eat yellow snow!
End of an Era in Bedford? 💔 It appears that a longtime Mid-Cities favorite has quietly closed its doors. The building that housed Bedford Snoball is now boarded up, and business listings now show the iconic snow cone stand as permanently closed.
For generations of local families, a trip to Bedford Snoball was a summer tradition. The stand at 2201 Pipeline Road served snow cones, shaved ice treats, and even brisket sandwiches, becoming a beloved gathering spot for kids and families throughout Bedford, Hurst, Euless, Grapevine, and beyond.
What makes this especially bittersweet is that the property was marketed in 2022 as an opportunity to purchase the "iconic Bedford Snoballs" business, which had been described as a community staple for nearly 50 years.
While there has not yet been a public announcement explaining the closure, the sight of the boarded-up building marks what appears to be the end of one of Bedford's most recognizable summertime traditions.
