📚 New Hours at Mountain View Books!

Starting this Sunday, our new store hours will be:

Sunday: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Monday–Wednesday: Closed*
Thursday–Saturday: 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM

*If we are at the store working Monday through Wednesday, the doors will be open and you are welcome to come in and shop!

We’ll be making more changes over the next couple of months as we work to improve the efficiency of the bookstore and better serve our customers.

📚 Exciting Updates at Mountain View Books! 📚

Since acquiring the bookstore in January, we’ve been hard at work expanding and refreshing our inventory—and we’re excited to share our progress with you!

Our brand-new Mountain View Books sign has arrived, and we’ve been steadily adding more books to the shelves. While the transformation is still ongoing, there’s already so much to explore—and even more to come in the next few months.

We’d love for you to stop by, browse, and see the changes for yourself! And if there’s a specific book you’ve been searching for, let us know—we’re happy to work on adding it to our collection.

The Book Archive page now reflects its new ownership by Mountain View Books-Fountain, with a forthcoming update on the new phone number. Contact can currently be made via the listed email address. The website is offline, and new outdoor signage is pending approval from the City of Fountain. Store hours are currently variable but generally from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, seven days a week. Additionally, there's a larger store in Colorado Springs at 2409 W. Cucharras Street in Old Colorado City, which has been open for two years. More updates will be provided soon.

Mountain View Books officially purchased Book Archive at the end of last year, and we are currently in the process of updating our book inventory and making system changes. We were open for business over the past two days while these updates were underway.

Due to the winter storm overnight, we will be closed on Friday, January 9th for travel safety reasons.

Additional updates will be shared over the next few days. This page will also be updated soon to reflect our new name: Mountain View Books – Fountain. We’re excited to share that we also have a bookstore location in Colorado Springs at 2409 W. Cucharras Street in Old Colorado City.
