A huge thank you for another fantastic Parking Lot Party! 🙏❤️

We've spent the last week and a half cleaning up, organizing, paying bills, finding the last stray zip tie (they're everywhere!), and smiling as we relive what an incredible day we shared together.

To everyone who joined us for the 4th Annual Parking Lot Party, thank you for spending your day with us. Whether you came for the music, artists, food, friendships, or simply to support Ignite the Arts Foundation and it’s causes, you made this event something super special.

Every year, this event grows because of the people who show up with open hearts and love for community, creativity, and connection. This year was no exception. From the everyone dancing and playing to friends reconnecting over great music, every smile, conversation, and memory made the day exactly what we hoped it would be.

We're especially grateful to our sponsors, donors, volunteers, vendors, performers, and artists who believed in this event and helped bring it to life. 🤗

Because of your generosity, Ignite the Arts Foundation can continue creating opportunities where the arts improve lives—fostering inclusion through music and the arts, expanding access to creative experiences, supporting arts in mental health, providing scholarships, and developing programs that bring creativity to people who need it most.

Over the next couple of weeks we'll be sharing lots of photos 📸 celebrating the amazing people who made the day possible, and reliving some of our favorite moments. Please tag your friends, share the posts, tell us about your favorite memories, and help us keep the good vibes going.

We are just THREE days away from the 4th Annual Parking Lot Party ✨

Here is some key information about our event:

- It is a rain-or-shine event- we’ll keep the party going under our tent either way!
- This event will have wristbands, so you may re-enter if you happen to leave the event
- Children 14 and under can attend for FREE
- Our event will be full of beautiful artwork from our Artist Marketplace
- We will have raffles again! Stay tuned for tomorrow's post to see our awesome items

Want to know what to bring and what should stay at home? Visit our website for the full list, but here are some of our suggestions:

- Bring a lawn chair or blanket to enjoy the party all day long!
- We encourage guests (if they can) to bring a gently used musical instrument to donate to Charity Music
- We also suggest bringing comfortable shoes & coming to the event hungry!

🎵 Give Your Instrument a Second Life! 🎵

Do you have a guitar in the closet? A trumpet collecting dust? A violin that hasn’t been played in years?

Bring your gently used musical instruments to the Parking Lot Party and give someone else the chance to discover the joy of music!

We’re honored to welcome Charity Music Inc. to this year’s event! They’ll collect donated instruments, restore them if needed, and place them in the hands of people who will truly cherish them.

Because of their work, more than 150 children are currently learning to play instruments at their schools—along with disadvantaged youth, military veterans, and others whose lives are being changed through music.

Every instrument has another song left to play.

A chair / an article of clothing you want to embellish or sign / your best Greta inspired pajamas for the parade!

Where: Kernel Benny's Popcorn Frankenmuth and Haus of Greta 321 S. Main Street "Top of the Hill"
👉What time: The fun starts at 5 pm. The band Candy Cigarette starts at 6:30.
👉Boho hair, colored lashes, and tinsel!!! Provided by Meraki Salon & Spa because "Life is too short for boring hair!" And... you will look great for Saturday!
👉Paint & embellish with Wendy Yaworski! Got an old denim jacket gathering dust? Pajamas or a plain white tee that needs some personality? How about a canvas tote bag begging for a splash of color? Whether you're a seasoned artist or you haven't touched a paint brush since grade school, Wendy can help guide you toward a wearable creation.
