LOCAL AUTHOR EVENT: Welcome Back Sheryl Kennedy!

Davison community, we have a very special homecoming event happening right now! We are thrilled to host author Sheryl Kennedy at Charlin's Book Nook for an exclusive book signing and meet-and-greet.

For so many, Sheryl is a familiar and beloved face. Born and raised right in Davison, she went on to teach at the high school and, alongside her husband Mike, raised her own children here. Now, she’s back in the shop sharing an incredibly deeply moving and personal milestone with us all.

Sheryl has recently published her powerful new memoir. It beautifully chronicles her journey of adopting her daughter out of foster care, alongside the complex, 25-year relationship she built with her daughter's siblings—and her first mother before her passing. It is a story of family, resilience, and unconditional love that will touch your heart. ❤️📖

While we can’t unlock all the gates to the magic just yet, here is what we can whisper from behind the velvet curtain…

🏰 The Venue & Dates:
We are currently putting the finishing touches on confirming our venue and exact dates—we're now aiming for June 4th & 5th, 2027! We are working hard to ensure we have the absolute perfect space to bring this massive Fantasy Ball & Book Signing experience to life in the Frankenmuth / Birch Run area, and we will be releasing the official venue as soon as it is confirmed!

🎟️ Ticket Sales:
Target your calendars! We are hoping to launch ticket sales in Fall of 2026. The moment tickets and official purchase links are ready, we will drop them right here on our page!
