Success is something we work at everyday at our modern, 300,000-square-foot manufacturing and distribution center in Frankfort, Indiana. All of our candy-making machinery was purpose-built for the confection category by craftsman around the world and is top of the line. Highly efficient, automated production, often using proprietary processes, is the key to Zachary’s reputation as a volume-value manufacturer. Consider this: Zachary has the largest and fastest creme production capability in the world. We can produce up to 10,000 pounds an hour. Zachary also maintains our own packaging lines, packing a broad range of boxes, tubs and bags—whatever the customer wants. Our temperature-controlled warehouse with state-of-the-art inventory control systems helps ensure only fresh inventory goes out the door. Our central Indiana location puts us within a day’s drive of more than two-thirds of the country, an important consideration for customers. Quality Ingredients
One thing Zachary never does is don’t skimp on ingredients. All of our chocolate products are made with 100% real chocolate. Our ingredients are safely stored to ensure freshness. We use domestic suppliers for ingredients including sugar, corn syrup, peanuts, and raisins. We go the extra step and add wholesome ingredients to our products for flavoring, such as real honey in our candy corn and mello creme pumpkins. Only pure maple syrup goes into our line of maple items. Taking these important steps enable us to manufacture products that look great and taste superior. Quality Assurance
We also keep a careful eye on every ingredient that comes into our plant and every product that leaves. Samples of all ingredients received and of every product batch are sent for analysis to an independent lab. Our commitment to quality has driven us to allocate substantial resources to attain food safety certification from the Global Food Safety Initiative, a leading global safety and quality certification program used throughout the world and establishes benchmarks for food safety.
