Today I want to post a memorial to Jim Pogue. Many may know Jim, we have only known him for a short period of time during his long life.

He was 87 and running National Cigar Corp as their president. He had dedicated 63 years of his life to this company. He personally met with us as we toured the building. From our short meetings with him in 2015 and 2016, you could tell he was an honest, energetic, and wonderful man. He also loved his ci**rs! My only wish was to have known him better. The memorial video was wonderful to watch.

Today I accidentally came across his obituary. Over the last few years, I have thought about him and his family often, especially around the anniversary of buying the building. Today we are mourning the loss of a treasured person to National Cigar Corp and in the community. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers.

Fall and Christmas are around the corner!!! At Stellar Candle Company & Stellar Creations on Main are looking for small business owners and creators! We are creating space for more vendors. This opportunity is different from your typical vendor booth space. We are designing a stylish and beautiful space that is on par with a boutique, not a flea market.
- Low monthly fee compared typical booth rental.
- No need to spend time styling your booth, we do the work.
- Bring all the approved items you want, we won't be limiting the amount of space for each vendor.
- Commission (10-30%) will be based on inventory type. Smalls will be on the lower end with large furniture on the higher end.
- We run the business, you just need to create.

More progress pictures. This is the first floor in the back area. We still have some work to do, but it looks SO much better!

Progress..... Sometimes we forget where we started. I did. I completely forgot how ugly and dark the room was. Now it is bright and airy.

This is the large room on the first floor.
2016 - Walls were brown, windows covered, and HVAC cut off the view into the room.
2016-2021 - Walls were blue. Lighting was the old factory lights. The ductwork was still ugly.
2022 - Walls painted green. We added bead board to compliment the existing bead board. The ductwork was painted to blend with the ceiling.

We have not done this for awhile. Over the last couple of years, we have had a lot of changes. Let me introduce you to our businesses within the building.

At Bucking Beautiful Studio you can get tattoos, piercings, microblading, and lashes done. Give Jessica a call to get on her schedule.

Then we have a mother/daughter duo that has several business ventures. If you are looking for fun, unique children's clothing, accessories, books, gifts, decor, and more - then you will love Old Goat Kids Boutique .

If you are looking for unique, custom items - then Stellar Creations on Main is your go to place. We make Memory bears, pillows, sewn items, stuffed dachshunds & bulldogs, embroidery, silk floral arrangements, and more!

Lastly, Stellar Candle Company started out as our candle brand. We are expanding this to include books (new & used), home decor, and space for other small businesses. Lots of exciting things are happening.

Lastly, we have one more tenant coming. I will let them get settled before introducing them!

Before and After. Check out the difference! We added paint, benches, new HVAC, and cleaned up the windows. Now I'm just waiting to buy some flowers for our flower boxes. The ceiling to be painted as well.
