Junk 'Re'Purposed Accepting the notion that just one person can make a difference is the giant push I needed to start this blog.

I've always wanted to try my hand at blogging, but it always seemed too intimidating, and I was never really sure of where I needed to start. So, I started with an idea: promote the financial support of non-profits through the inspiration of re-purposing thrift store finds. I hope that the projects and ideas you find here will inspire you to shop at a local thrift store in your community and re-purpose for a purpose.

We created a bathroom vanity out of an old singer sewing machine base (10.00), an old water pump (2.00), an old metal map table we cut in half and mounted (10.00), an old green metal tub (25.00) and a random metal insert we got for drinks. Painted our concrete floors (don't ask about scraping mortar - never agin). Finished product looks amazing!
