It’s SECOND SATURDAY!!! 🍂🍂🍂
The Johnson County Antique Market will open at 9 am this morning till 3 pm at the JoCo Fairgrounds!! Cost is $4 per person. There are two big barn fulls of vendors that come from all over to set up each month. These “ber” months are my favorite time to go as I’m a sucker for vintage holiday decor.
Come do some antiquing today in Franklin!! Hit the market. Grab some lunch. Then head to the shops downtown!! 🛍️🛍️

Our fall fashion is almost gone!! We still have a few lovely maxi dresses that are perfect for fall family photos, Thanksgiving and just everyday wear. We only have one puppy dog sweater left already!! It’s so darn cute!! $39.99 in medium.

October 24 - Come get your pies preordered or take home now for your holidays with THE PINK PIE QUEENS!! These ladies will be set up outside the Mercantile with fresh baked pies you can take home and eat right away or freeze!! Or you can place an order and pick up at Farm Girl closer to the holidays!! ❤️🥧❤️

October 30!! Our very first workshop in our brand new space!!! Remember the grant money we received from our wonderful Chamber of Commerce in September 2025? Well our project is almost complete. We are beyond excited to utilize this space for our awesome classes that we started in early 2020!! These are usually sell out classes. No talent needed and they’re all step by step. So you cannot mess up!! 😜

It’s almost time to shop till you drop in Downtown Franklin!!
The Holiday Open House is the most special weekend of the year in my humble opinion.
Why? Because this is a TOWNWIDE event that encourages you to venture out and explore over FORTY downtown brick & mortar businesses!! It’s exactly how I discovered shopping in Franklin back in 2015!! Which led me to becoming a vendor at another store. Which led me to starting Farm Girl!! Needless to say the Holiday Open House is very special to me.🥰

Our vendors are all Christmas fanatics who go all out!!! We are all so excited for this upcoming season.

Don’t forget November’s first Friday will be Nov 6 which will be the Holiday Open House Kick Off. We will be open late till 8 pm!!! This three day weekend sneaks up on us fast as it’s the weekend right after Halloween! We have a lot of work to do over the next few weeks!! It’s going to be so much fun!! 🎅🏻🎁🎄

We are still exhilarated from this past weekend’s Vintage & Handmade Fest!! 🎉🎉🎉

Thank you to everyone involved. It’s a huge accomplishment to pull off an event of that size and make it a success!! The vendors I have talked to who set up here at the Mercantile have said they definitely want to come back next year because they had such tremendous sales and foot traffic.

I hope we can continue to grow the festival whether adding new spaces or adding a second day. The weather I think was our most perfect weather we have ever had for it too!! Seems like it’s usually hot or rainy. This was our TENTH Vintage Fest!!! Time flies when we’re having fun!! 🤎💛🧡🤎💛🧡

Speaking of TENTH…this will be Farm Girl Mercantile’s 10th Christmas Season!!! So hard to believe!! As most of you know we are ALWAYS CLOSED the Sunday before the Downtown Franklin Holiday Open House. November 1 we will be closed. We will post about it again over the next few weeks. We try to give as much notice as we can so you can plan your trips accordingly. I know several shops close down for Christmas transformations over the next few weeks. So definitely check their social media pages.🎄

In the mean time, we have pumpkins, mums, cornstalks, paint your own spooky cookies, antiques, fall fashion, candles, local honey, goats milk products, of course decor that is new, locally made and vintage and so much more!! 🎃

Be on the look out Monday Oct 5 for members of the Whiteland FFA bringing you lunch!!!!
As a proud FFA mom I had the best time participating in this last year and am so excited to do it again tomorrow!! The farmers faces just light up when the kids walk out to them with sacks of food. It’s a great tradition for the Whiteland FFA.

These kids are spending part of their fall break giving back to their community and showing gratitude for our farmers during harvest season!!

Have a safe and successful harvest to all of our farmers!!
